G35c, G35s, 350Z are all based on the same "basic" platform. G35s & G35c are obviously longer than a 350Z, but the all use the same suspension pieces etc... Surprisingly the Nissan Altima and Nissan Murano has very SIMILAR chassis platforms... granted some measurements differ a little because these two have horiztonally opposed motors, where as the others have them longitudinally... hope I got that right. But all the suspension pieces are VERY similar if you put say a Nissan Altima and a G35s on a lift... you'll be rather surprised. Altima will have plugs in the rear suspension where the driveshaft would go... G35s has plugs in the front suspension where the driveshafts would go... Also, the FX platform IS the same as the G35s & c and 350Z etc... as stated above. It ALSO is designed to house the 4.5L Infiniti V8. And it also uses the AWD system, on both the FX35 (3.5L V6) and the FX45 (4.5L V8). And Infiniti is rumored to have a sport wagon on the way that has the 260hp 3.5L V6 with AWD... So... draw what conclusions you may... but Nissan/Infiniti has all the pieces needed to make a 4.5L V8 AWD G35c/350 er... 450Z. =)
